Privacy policy

The present privacy policy defines and informs you of the manner in which Place des Epices uses and protects the information that you may transmit to us when you use the present site accessible from the following URL: www.placedesepices.com or www.placedesepices.fr (hereinafter the "Site").
Please note that this privacy policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by Place des Epices, in particular in order to comply with any changes in legislation, regulations, case law or technology. In such a case, the date of the update will be clearly identified at the top of the present policy. These modifications are binding on the User as soon as they are put online. I. PERSONAL DATA
In general, it is possible for you to visit the Place des Epices Site without communicating any personal information about yourself. In any case, you are under no obligation to transmit this information to Place des Epices.
Nevertheless, in the event of refusal, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services that you have requested. In certain cases, Place des Epices may ask you to provide your surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number and address (hereinafter referred to as your "personal information"). Place des Epices informs you that it will be entitled, if necessary, to oppose manifestly abusive requests (due to their number, repetitive or systematic nature).

6. Response times
Place des Epices undertakes to reply to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of your request.

7. Authorized service providers and transfer to a third country of the European Union
Place des Epices informs you that it has recourse to its authorized service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data you have communicated to us. These service providers may be located outside the European Union and are responsible for communicating data collected via the various forms on the Site (with the exception of the form enabling you to exercise your data protection rights, which is offered and operated by Place des Epices).
Place des Epices has previously ensured that its service providers provide adequate guarantees and comply with strict conditions in terms of confidentiality, use and data protection. In particular, we have verified that there is a legal basis for transferring data to a third country. In this respect, one of our service providers is subject to internal company rules (or "Binding Corporate Rules") that were approved by the CNIL in 2016 when the others obey not only Standard Contractual Clauses but also the Privacy Shield.

8. Complaint to the competent authority
If you consider that Place des Epices is not complying with its obligations with regard to your personal information, you may submit a complaint or a request to the competent authority.
