Organic powdered spices generally have a shorter shelf life than whole organic spices, which is why we grind your spices to order, on the day of dispatch, for greater respect of the product and your ultimate satisfaction. We only use high quality organic spices, which have absolutely nothing to do with all the spices you can find in supermarkets or even in some delicatessens...
Take a close look at our cloves, for example, and you'll see that the flower bud is always present, a sign of hand-picked harvesting at the right time, our cumin is firm and not wilted, and paprika really does smell of peppers (sweet pepper - Capsicum annuum) rather than an acrid, pungent substance.
The quality of the spices you use is just as important as the quality of the meat or vegetables you buy. A bad spice will make for a bad preparation, and that same bad preparation is sure to make for a bad dish.
