Original coffees roasted by my friend Jean-François Torre, roaster from grandfather to grandson for 100 years in old Nice. High-quality, full-city roasted products (a roasting median between the very light Nordic-style coffees and the longer French- or Italian-roasted coffees). A range of organic coffees from Mexico and Peru will soon be in stock - we'll let you know when the time comes.
Place des Epices lets you buy specialty coffee beans or specialty ground coffee to suit your needs (Chemex, V60, Bodum, Expresso, Aeropress, filter or Italian). Our coffees roasted by Jean-François Torre are all full-city (i.e., the intermediate roasting grade between a very lightly roasted coffee and a strongly roasted Italian or French-style coffee). City, City +, Full City, Full City + and French roast are the five main grades.
You can discover and buy Yrgachefe Gedeo coffee beans of pure Ethiopian origin, the mocha of mochas, or our delicate Java Sunda coffee. Take a trip to South America and try our Colombia Antioquia Concordia coffee or our Cuba Sierra Maestra coffee.
