This is where you'll find the herbs and flowers of the Place des Epices. Aromatics, spices, herbs, condiments? In general, but admittedly the debate is far from over, herbs can be eaten on their own (like basil or parsley), spices can't be eaten on their own (fenugreek, ras-el-Hanout or cloves), but what about aromatic plants? (well, garlic, onions, shallots) And what about condiments? Well, mustard, pickles and pickled onions can be used to accompany a dish, but can also be eaten on their own... a whole program, I tell you! The main thing, of course, is to have a great time with family and friends over a generous dish accompanied by spices, herbs, condiments or aromatic plants! Enjoy your discovery and bon appétit.
Aromatics and flowers are culinary elements that we particularly like, since they come from the plant without any processing other than drying to preserve them. Our organic Hibiscus flowers are magnificent, and make for highly fragrant and flavorful infusions.
