Organic bear's garlic is also known as wild garlic, wood garlic or badger garlic in the Netherlands, according to the legend that these animals eat it to purge themselves after coming out of hibernation. Certified FR-BIO-01, our organic wild garlic is of the highest quality, so you can use it in your salads or as a daily seasoning in place of salt. The photo does not represent the product for sale. A 30-centimeter herbaceous plant of the amaryllidaceae family, organic bear's garlic cut leaves can be used as a herbal tea or seasoning. Infuse 1 tablespoon for 5 minutes in a cup to benefit from its antiseptic properties. In food, organic bear's garlic adds flavor to your dishes and salads, and helps avoid salt. Please note that the cut of wild garlic may vary from one harvest to another.
