Artemisia Dracunculus is a species of perennial herbaceous plant about 80cm tall in the Asteraceae family.
This plant is used for both its medicinal and culinary properties. Its distinctive fragrance is reminiscent of aniseed due to the presence of estragol in its composition. A compound found in basil and nutmeg. Traces of its appearance date back to the early 16th century, in Rembert Dodoens' herbarium of 1543.
