Organic nutmeg flower mace

Mace, or nutmeg flower, is native to the Moluccan Islands in Indonesia, and more likely to Ceram. To obtain mace, the aril (the husk of the nutmeg fruit) is sun-dried for two weeks, then cut or ground into powder. Often used in quality spice blends, its fragrance is incomparable. Try it in a good pâté: the fat coats this spice perfectly.
